Hello! I'm Alex, founder of Cat JOY. Three years ago, I was looking for a claw for my pet Alice. I didn't like posts with a terrible design, which after three months peel off to a cardboard with hanging ropes. Found a cute cardboard claw. Three months later, it crumbled to dust due to poor material. But you can do everything qualitatively!
This is how the story of Cat JOY began.

Cardboard

We tested 8 cardboard manufacturers. It would seem that what could be simpler than cardboard? But no: the sheets crumbled and lost their shape after gluing, suppliers missed deadlines. As a result, we chose Austrian material, the quality of which we are 1000% sure.

Glue

At first we put a cardboard block on metal axles, but the letters moved and the cats didn't like it. Therefore glue. It should be safe and strong. PVA leaves traces of smell and is not liked by some cats, so we started to cook the glue ourselves from starch and water. After a dozen attempts, they found the optimal recipe. Hooray. :)

Design

We were inspired by the precise lines of Apple and looked for a shape that would be comfortable for the cat to sharpen its claws, rest and play with the claw. What happened - judge for yourself.
