Every CAT JOY cat scratcher is a horizontal scratching post, lounger and bed in one: a dense 5-layer corrugated cardboard core that cats love to dig their claws into, framed by a real wood facade so it looks like furniture rather than a pet accessory. Six sizes, 54–84 cm, in brown, white or black — handmade in our own workshop since 2021.

Why a cardboard cat scratcher instead of a sisal scratching post?

Cardboard is a texture cats take to straight away. It gives slightly under the claw — that is the satisfying part — without snagging it, it holds body heat, so the scratcher doubles as a cat bed, and there are no rope fibres to shed. A flat cat scratch board also lets your cat stretch out full length, something a short upright post cannot offer. Which size cat scratcher do you need?

• Kittens and small cats: Modern (54 cm) or the curved Bionics (63 cm).
• Average adult cats: the wide Vanguard lounge (59 cm) or the Loft scratcher bed (70 cm).
